How do you think the Government can best support those who rely on their Intellectual Property? The Alliance for IP works with ACID to ensure that intellectual property rights are valued in the UK and the important economic and cultural contribution they make is understood by politicians and policy-makers.

In the run-up to the next General Election in 2015 they want to ensure that the voice of business, design and creativity is heard by Government.  To this end, the Alliance has launched a Call for Views  - an opportunity for you to tell the Government what it needs to do to best support those who rely on IP for their prosperity.

Using your comments, the Alliance will draw up a clear set of actions for government.  This 'Manifesto for IP' will outline those we believe will make the UK the location of choice for people wanting to set up IP rich businesses and deliver brilliant products, content and designs to the public.

This is not a re-run of past reviews into the intellectual property framework.  It is designed to uncover what those at the coal-face think the next Government should, or indeed should not, do to ensure IP-rich businesses flourish.

The survey is very short and simple, will take only a couple of minutes and can be accessed via the link below.

Don't feel obliged to fill out the entire survey and only complete the questions you feel appropriate.  Other views and comments on this crucial issue are also welcome. Although you are asked for your name, e-mail address and organisation, all responses are anonymous.  If you would like to return a physical copy please post to: Alliance for Intellectual Property, Second Floor, Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7JA.

Please could comments be received by 17th January 2014
